Stonyflat Bank Meadow and Woods

Prudhoe Space for Nature began tending and managing the meadow and wooded areas across the path from the Wildlife Garden, on Stonyflat Bank, in 2025. In coordination with Northumberland County Council, wildflower seed was sown to create a meadow area on the land adjacent to the main path. The Wood was then thinned to allow more light in and woodland bulbs, plants and shrubs have been planted to create a natural wood for everyone to be able to enjoy. Further wooded areas along Stonyflat Bank will be improved and managed over coming months and years.
