“One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.”

–William Shakespeare

WHO ARE PRUDHOE SPACE FOR NATURE:

We are a group of local volunteers who are creating and managing green spaces around Prudhoe, for the benefit of people, wildlife and nature.

We are based at Prudhoe Wildlife Garden, which is currently open for everyone on Thursdays and Saturdays every week of the year. (We are hoping to open more days this year, so look out for updates!)

We are also involved in a number of other wildlife projects throughout Prudhoe, including the Bee Beds outside the Co-op, planting spring bulbs on the green space behind Waterworld and Edgewell Cemetery, the Methodist Chapel Memorial Stone Tubs and Prudhoe Firestation Beds.

All members of Prudhoe Space for Nature are local volunteers, with an interest in wildlife, in gardening, in engineering, in having a healthy social activity and the outdoors. If you might be interested in helping out or finding out more, please contact us on our CONTACT page, we'll be delighted to hear from you!
